AREAWARE Ristorante Candlestick
Due to Harry Allen's versatile nature, he's often asked to span multiple design disciplines, including graphic design and brand development. In 2001, he created windows, merchandise displays and holiday packaging for Dom Perignon. For the Typeface retail chain in Japan, Mr. Allen was responsible for the development of the brand's corporate identity; this included the store itself, the logo, fixtures and all visual displays. New
projects include packaging for Target and DuPont, display design for
Estee Lauder, and the Reality (hands) product line for upstart design
company Areaware. His Ristorante Candlestick is a cast of a wine bottle you'd be likely to spot holding a dripping candle at your favorite spaghetti place. (think red and white checked table cloth).
