Miriam Mirri was born in Bologna in 1964, and today lives and works in Milan. After graduating from the Superior School for Anotomic Design, she worked alongside Nigel Coates, and most recently has been an assistant to Stefano Giovannoni. She designs objects for companies such as Mandarina Duck, Mitsubishi and United Pets. Miriam's sense of whimsy and delight has put her at the forefront in the creation of playful accessories for the home. Among her extensive body of work for Alessi you'll find such items as the Beba Night Light, Lupita Dog Bowl, Big Love ice cream bowl, and the PINO funnel.
