Located on the shores of Lake Orta, Alessi has established itself as the 'factory of Italian design'. Founded in the 20's, today they pride themselves in the art of household objects manufactured with stainless steel. Born in Tokyo in 1968, Francesca Amfitheatrof studied at the Royal College of Art in London and specialized her research in the design of jewelry and silverware, with special training in metal casting and forging.
