Platform bed sizes have an approximate 15 inch drop on three sides and no rounded corners. This allows enough to tuck in on any size mattress, guaranteeing a clean look all around. Box Spring bed sizes have an approximate 21 inch drop on three sides and two rounded corners at the bottom.
