Platform bed sizes have an approximate 15 inch drop on three sides and no rounded corners. This allows enough to tuck in on any size mattress, guaranteeing a clean look all around. Box Spring bed sizes have an approximate 21 inch drop on three sides and two rounded corners at the bottom. The rounded corners on the bottom ensure that it will drape evenly on any bed with a boxspring frame.
