The 101 coffee pot from programme 5 was first produced in 1956, and ever since it has been one of the most well-established products in the Alessi catalogue. Per the specifications of Alitalia Airlines in 1972, the most up-to-date version came into being. The lid fits into the rim of the pot to prevent condensation from running down the outside of the pot. The spout is an integral part of the pot (an exceptional technical feat), and the end of the spout has become more arched to ensure a better pouring without drips. Lastly, the hinge has been enlarged to make it more robust.
