Located on the shores of Lake Orta, Alessi has established itself as the 'factory of Italian design'. Founded in the 20's, today they pride themselves in the art of household objects manufactured with stainless steel. Clare Brass was born in London in 1962 and studied at the Middlesex Polytechnic. She lives and works in Milan where she collaborated with Andrea Branzi before setting up her own studio, Zoo design. She is one of the founders of the Doc group.
