Ascent is a striking combination of black metal and brushed aluminum shapes in ascending formation. The silver and black serve to complement a contemporary motif with taller ceiling spaces. Sleek and precise, Ascent moves in a serpentine style, with one vane following the other as the air currents play across the surface. Arrives fully assembled and ready to hang. Joel Hotchkiss has been designing contemporary kinetic art and mobiles since 1976. His work has been sold in numerous museum stores including the Guggenheim, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and the Art Institute of Chicago.
