Located on the shores of Lake Orta, Alessi has established itself as the 'factory of Italian design'. Founded in the 20's, today they pride themselves in the art of household objects manufactured with stainless steel. Born in Helsinky in 1966, Kristiina Lassus studied at the University of Industrial Arts, at the Polytechnic and at the Konstfack Academy of Industrial Arts in Stockholm. She's worked as an internal architect, designer and project manager in Helsinki, Brisbane and Milan. She has lived in Italy since 1997 and now works as a collaborator and advisor.
