Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec, 2004

 

The Bouroullec Brothers' work ranges from small utilitarian objects to architectural projects. In addition to the design of domestic and office furniture, vases, porcelain dishware, jewelry and diverse home accessories, a primary focus of their work is the design and organization of interior space. Their Algues are both functional interior design components and decorative elements. Reminiscent of plants, the plastic members can be linked together to form web-like textures from light curtains to thick, opaque room dividers.
