GUS Design employs high quality acrylic in it's lighting products. These designs, although simple in appearance, are precision engineered with strict attention to detail in order to bring out the architectural beauty inherent to each design. All acrylic pieces are plotted and cut using CNC technology which guarantees accuracy, quality and product consistency. Individually cut pieces are then chemically bonded together and flame polished. Acrylic designs are made using GE plastic, in ¼” thickness. The Lightbox is designed to accommodate a standard bulb, and is rated to hold up to 500 pounds.
