Studio JSPR was founded in 2005 by Jasper van Grootel, a graduate of the Design Academy Eindhoven under supervision of Oscar Penya. His company, Studio JSPR, is made up of a collaborative team working in architectural and furniture design. The Plastic Fantastic series consists of vintage Baroque pieces, restored and conditioned at a very high level. They are then treated with a special Soft Skin rubber coating. Brand new to the 2007 product line, this whimsical sconce tempers it's traditional form; the result is a combination of modern and turn of the century Victorian. Each fixture is custom made, available in a  selection of pleasing colors.
