BLU DOT Buttercup Chair

Designers Maurice Blanks and John Christakos of Minneapolis based Blu Dot, have added the molded plywood Buttercup Chair to their ever expanding line of affordable chairs, tables, beds and storage systems. Some of their pieces are in the permanent collections of several museums, and they've even been able to sneak them on the sets of TV series 'Friends' and 'ER.' An attractive addition to the 2006 line up, the Blu Dot Buttercup is a reclining lounge chair made of a ribbon like form of bent oak plywood with a stainless swivel pedestal base. Mod Livin's Denver location has been selected as a "Dot Spot" retailer.
