This chair pays tribute to Hans Wegner, the master of twentieth century Danish Modernism, instrumental in developing a body of furniture design known as 'organic functionalism'. Modernica is an L.A. based manufacturer in the business of creating high-quality and exacting reproductions of modern mid-century designs. Brothers Frank and Jay Novak have created their own lines of furniture that take their cues from the aesthetic of that era, and pay homage to masters the likes of Eames, Noguchi, Saarinen and Risom.  We will be happy to provide swatches on request.
