KARTELL Miss Global Chair

Philippe Starck is best known for his humorous forms and his bizarre, often disingenuous public pronouncements. His modern designs are unmistakable - saucy amoebic minimalism with a revealing irreverent twist. Miss Global, along with her sidekick Dr. Glob, were the first chairs produced in plastic with angular lines. She boasts an unusual use of curves, an original use of talc to textures of the surfaces and novel colors, created specifically for this product line. Particular attention has been given to comfort and to the ergonomic qualities of the seat. Miss Global combines front legs, seat and backrest into a unitized component for improved comfort and structural solidity. The back legs are made of varnished steel.
