VITRA Soft Sim Low Chair
Jasper Morrison, 2004
Jasper Morrison became a leading figure of "New Simplicity", a movement
that advocated a more modest and also more serious approach to design.
In addition to furniture, he has also created lamps, home accessories,
textiles, and a tram system for the city of Hanover, Germany. Structurally and formally speaking, his Soft Sim Low Chair is based on the Soft Sim Chair. Thanks to the careful changes made to the proportions - shorter legs, a broader and extended seat - Morrison has effortlessly changed the chair into an armchair. And as befits a Lounge Chair, there is an ottoman to match.
Materials: chromed steel rods, polyester knitted fabric.
