VITRA Morrison Sofa
Jasper Morrison, 2004
Jasper Morrison became a leading figure of "New Simplicity", a movement
that advocated a more modest and also more serious approach to design.
In addition to furniture, he has also created lamps, home accessories,
textiles, and a tram system for the city of Hanover, Germany. “Chesterfield sofas ran through the England of my youth, for me they are the quint-essence of all sofas and of the comfort of my home. All this is visible in the design of the armrest that seemed almost to draw itself while I was thinking about what needed to be done.” The Morrison Sofa features: polished aluminum feet, upholstery made of polyurethane foam and polyester, and 100% detachable cotton cover.
