BluDot began as a loose collaborative of three college friends trained in architecture and art. Opening their studio in 1996, BluDot has hit it's stride with a collection of 40-some pieces that are abstract, functional and affordable. This innovative company was bestowed with the 2002 Smithsonian National Design Award. Sometimes, excellent design is about what's not there. The BluDot Chicago Series takes advantage of 'negative space,' creating smart and elegant storage. The 8-Box features powder coated tubular steel legs, and is available in cherry, 'graphite on oak' or maple hardwood veneer. Mod Livin's Denver location has been selected as a "Dot Spot" retailer.
