Blu Dot began as a loose collaborative of three college friends trained in architecture and art. Opening their studio in 1996, Blu Dot has hit it's stride with a collection of 40-some pieces that are abstract, functional and affordable. This innovative company was bestowed with the 2002 Smithsonian National Design Award. New for 2007, Series 11 sports an elegant and refined approach with thin hardwood edges and drawers that close smoothly.
