Opening their studio in 1996, Blu Dot has hit it's stride with a collection of 40-some pieces that are abstract, functional and affordable. This innovative company was bestowed with the 2002 Smithsonian National Design Award. Beautiful and exposed; just simple straight-forward beauty of powder coated steel and a wood veneer top. Ships flat and folds into shape. The Barbarellas include rectangular and square coffee tables as well as a console and side table. Bases arrive in ivory or robin's egg blue with 'graphite on oak' hardwood top. Somewhere, Jane Fonda is beaming with pride. Mod Livin's Denver location has been selected as a "Dot Spot" retailer.
