Blu Dot began as a loose collaborative of three college friends trained in architecture and art. Opening their studio in 1996, BluDot has hit it's stride with a collection of 40-some modern pieces that are abstract, functional and affordable. This innovative company was bestowed with the 2002 Smithsonian National Design Award. Sometimes, excellent design is about what's not there. The BluDot Chicago Series takes advantage of 'negative space,' creating smart, elegant storage. The Cocktail Table has powder coated tubular steel legs with locking casters. Available in 'graphite on oak,' cherry and maple veneers. Mod Livin's Denver location has been selected as a "Dot Spot" retailer.
