At the Carl Hansen & Son Factory in Aarup, Denmark, the only furniture pieces  produced are those that were designed by Hans J. Wegner.  Although the plant has been outfitted  with the latest in high quality machinery, the furniture crafted there is still made according to traditional manners by a staff of highly dedicated people. The simple and elegant CH 318 Table embodies his ideology and spirit for simplicity. Wegner, with his unique understanding of wood, its possibilities and limitations, created many designs each with its own personality yet in a consistent language. The CH 318 is a modern classic, perfect for combining with the illustrious Wishbone Chair.
