Eero Aarnio is one of the pioneers in the use of plastic and fiberglass in industrial design. These mediums set the craftsman free to create every shape and use every color imaginable. This complete lack of restriction allows him to create objects oscillating between function and fun - but always fascinating. For the Parabel, Eero Aarnio has chosen his favorite material, fiberglass, as this medium allows such a free and expressive sculptural design. And there are only few such long lasting and easy to care for materials that meet the demands of a table surface. The dining table version gives room for at least 6 chairs. Conceived about the same time as the Focus Chair, the combination of the two models express the modern spirit of Eero Aarnio's designs. Available in side or dining table configuration.
