Steel button glides raise it from the floor, creating a subtle shadow line and allowing it to visually 'hover' off the floor. Solid wood on the sides is notched to accept a glass top, eliminating the need for mechanical fasteners. 10mm glass used for the top has polished edges, making it soft to the touch and providing protection to the surrounding wood.
