Philippe Starck is best known for his humorous forms and his bizarre, often disingenuous public pronouncements. His modern designs are unmistakable - saucy amoebic minimalism with a revealing irreverent twist. The Dr. No Chair and Dr. Na Table, two Kartell classics, are noted for their combination of functionality and visual appeal. Both are resistant to temperature variations and the chair can be stacked four high. Dr. No is accompanied by Dr. Na, a small round table offered as a direct complement to the chair. The varnished, scratch resistant top and the tapered central leg in plastic and aluminum allow Dr Na. to also survive outdoors, forming an ideal double act.
