For the past 50 years, the Kartell Italia trademark has been hallowed as the "designer's design". With a range of products recognized as the best in plastic materials technology, Kartell collaborates with such noted icons of design as Ron Arad, Antonio Citterio, Ferruccio Laviani, Piero Lissoni, Vico Magistretti, and Philippe Starck.  The letter T stands for "transgenic", the research designer Patricia Urquiola transformed into an textured table top reminiscent of embroidery. "I love veils," says the designer, "surfaces you can see through, but not glass." The result is a visual and tactile effect that's elegant but infused with a cozy domesticity. Composed of batch-dyed PMMA, the T Table is vailable in three heights and six colors, making it perfect for groupings and ensembles.
