Born in Munich in 1965, Konstantin Grcic studied design at the Royal College of Art in London. A contemporary of Jasper Morrison, his products have received many prestigious design awards, and some are on permanent display at the MOMA in New York. In 1999 Grcic won the competetion to furnish a public square in London's Canary Wharf. Table One is one of his newest modern creations, marrying space-age design with industrial materials Anchored with a clear coated concrete base, this bistro table has an anodized aluminum or black matte tube, and the top is manufactured with .50" thick HPL (laminate) to resist scratching.
