Italian company Magis is one step ahead of the present, already focused on the near future. The collaboration represents a manifest result of wide-open and multi layered design visions. Richard Sapper is unusual in that he has no formal training in design or architecture, but he's been described as "the guy who has never done a bad design". He specializes in more technical areas, and his products have ranged from computers to cars. His Aida Folding Table has a weighted base in polyamide grey anthracite. The frame consists of cataphoretically treated steel painted in grey polyester powder. The white top combines wood, resin and melamine to produce a unique high-tech composite.
