CHERNER Table Oval
Norman Cherner studied and taught at the Columbia University Fine Arts Department, and was an instructor at the Museum of Modern Art in New York from 1947 to 1949. At the same time he also began his private practice, embarking on a lifetime exploration of disciplinary design. Cherner's sons, Benjamin and Thomas, formed the Cherner Chair Company in 1999 to manufacture and market some of the most influential and well recognized designs spanning almost 50 years. Designed in 1951 and recognized by the Museum of Modern Art as “most progressive furniture”, the Cherner table is designed to compliment Cherner seating in your office or home environment. Available in your choice of walnut or beech veneer.
