As a result of the spectacular auction
on Friday night, Mod Livin' was successful in raising a total of $8,000
for the Downtown Animal Care Foundation.
Congratulations to Continental Airlines for taking
first place with their project "7K9-PUP" which
by itself brought in $850! City Manager Marc Bradell and his crew spent
countless hours on this top-notch 'aero-dog', and it garnered tons
of attention. Ironically, the Grand Prize was also to be donated by
Marc in the form of airline tickets! So, instead of awarding them to
himself, (ha ha), the prize went to the 2nd and 3rd place runners-up.
The amount of talent and creativity that went into the decoration this
year was overwhelming, and we'd like to express our sincere appreciation
to all involved. What a night!

Online Competition Winner
The Best In Show winner of our online voting competition was the Denver
Roller Dolls' "Kibbles & Bitch".
