An exceptional combination of materials, Kenji is a blend of Red Balau wood, a resin-infused paper based composite surface and stainless steel. Heat resistant to 350 degrees and impervious to weather, small nicks and scratches can easily be removed from the top with light refinishing. The look is strong and bold, allowing each item in the Kenji line to be presented as a stand-alone piece. Red Balau is an extremely hard, tight-grained wood with deep consistent color. It is naturally resistant to rot, UV exposure, ice, salt and splintering - all without the need for toxic chemicals.
